Enable and disable a widget

Once a widget is registered in Sitefinity CMS toolbox, you can hide it or display it.

To hide or display a registered widget, perform the following:

  1. Click Administration » Settings » Advanced.
  2. In the left pane, expand Toolboxes » Toolboxes » PageControls » Sections.
  3. Expand the section where you want to hide or display a widget.
  4. Expand Tools and select the widget.
  5. Select or deselect its Enabled checkbox.
    This hides and displays the widget in the toolbox.
