Disable the execution of scheduled tasks

PREREQUISITES: This setting is applicable only in a load balanced setup.

If you need to stop the execution of scheduled tasks on a particular node from the NLB setup, you can do this via the Advanced settings.

To do this, perform the following:

  1. Login to the backend of the node where you want to disable the execution of scheduled tasks.
  2. Navigate to Administration » Settings » Advanced.
  3. In the treeview, click Scheduling.
  4. Select Disable scheduled tasks execution.
  5. Save your changes.
  6. Restart the application.

IMPORTANT: You must ensure that there is at least one node from the load-balanced setup where the execution of scheduled tasks is allowed.
