Create section presets

You create presets via the WYSIWYG page editor.
Perform the following:

  1. Open an existing Next.js page or create a new one.
For more information, see Next.js pages and templates » Create Next.js pages.
  2. Add and configure the Section widget that will define and hold the preset.
For more information, see Design the layout of the page.

NOTE: Your widget preset may consist of one or more nested Section widgets or a combination between Section widgets, Content widgets, or other widgets.

  3. Add and configure the rest of the widgets in your preset.
For example, your preset may consist of Image widgets, Navigation widgets, etc.
For more information, see Next.js widgets.
  4. When you finish configuring your preset, you must save it.
To do this, perform the following:
    1. In the page editor, hover over the widget.
    2. Click the toggle menu in the widget label.
    3. Click More options (More options).
    4. Click Create a section preset.
    5. Enter a Title for the section preset.
    6. Click Create this section preset.
  5. You can close and delete the page that you used to create the preset.
This will not affect the section preset.

RESULT: The Widget preset is created and saved in Section presets module. To view the preset, in Sitefinity CMS backend, navigate to Design » Section presets.
