After you have configures your SharePoint connection, you can limit the items that are synchronized between Sitefinity CMS and SharePoint by using filters. This way, you can synchronize only specific items. You can set SharePoint filters and Sitefinity CMS filters. The first are applied to items created in SharePoint, the latter to items created in Sitefinity.
For example, if you have configured a two-way synchronization and applied a SharePoint filter, all items, created in Sitefinity CMS are synchronized to SharePoint, but only certain items created in SharePoint are synchronized to Sitefinity.
