SdkItem class and ISdkItem interface

The SdkItem class is the base class for working with the IRestClient interface and Sitefinity content. You can use this class for all kinds of content - both static and dynamic. It is useful when the model is not known in advance, or the model will be changed in the future.

The class has:

  • Static properties - Id and Provider
    These properties are always present for any kind of Sitefinity content items. You can also use them for other calls to the REST API.
  • Method GetValue
    The method provides access to any kind of defined fields on the server.
