Sitefinity provides you with tools and services that can assist you in the upgrade and migration process. 

  • Sitefinity Check-up service
    This service is provided by the Progress Professional Services team. The scope of the service is performing health check and providing an assessment of upgrade readiness, performance analysis, and security checks.
  • Sitefinity CLI
    You use Sitefinity CLI to upgrade your project running on Sitefinity CMS version 10.0 or higher.
    It automatically handles broken or missing references, targets the correct framework, and fixes binding redirects.
  • Sitefinity Migration Analyzer
    You use the Sitefinity Migration Analyzer to assess the state of your Sitefinity CMS project, gain visibility on which front-end frameworks (Web Forms, MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Next.js) are used in your project, and what part you need to migrate to a supported front-end rendering technology.
