About the Certification
The Sitefinity Insight 101 certification is part of the Progress Sitefinity enablement program designed for business users and marketers. Developed and offered exclusively by Progress, the certification is supported by training and exam materials created and maintained in-house to ensure they reflect current Sitefinity practices. It is intended for Sitefinity business users who want to validate their knowledge of CDP, personalization and analytics, and demonstrate their ability to work confidently with Sitefinity Insight.
To get certified in the essentials of Sitefinity Insight, you must successfully complete the Sitefinity Insight 101: Understanding & Mastering the Basics course. The exam is included with the course and can be accessed free of charge through the Progress Education Community.
Learners who pass the exam receive a “Certified Sitefinity Insight Essentials” badge and a personal certificate. Certificates remain valid for two years and can be renewed by retaking the exam.

About the Exam
- The training and certification are free of charge.
- Preparation is based on the Sitefinity Insight 101: Understanding & Mastering the Basics course.
- Consists of 24 multiple-choice questions
- Measures your knowledge of personas & audience segmentation, ability to set up touchpoints and define conversion goals, understand and apply A/B testing and optimization.
- Graded automatically with a 75% pass mark
- Once started, the exam needs to be completed within 60 minutes- it cannot be paused and continued at a later stage
- The certification is valid for 2 years, after which a re-certification is required
- A signed certificate and a “Certified Sitefinity Insight Essentials” badge awarded upon successfully passing the certification
Exam Retake Policy
If you do not pass the Certification Exam, you must wait at least seven (7) calendar days before attempting it again. This waiting period applies to all retakes, including the first and any subsequent attempts.

Step 1 - Log in
Visit the Progress Education Community (PEC) and log in with your Progress ID. If you do not have a Progress ID, you can register here.
Note: You must activate your Progress ID prior to logging in to the Progress Education Community
Step 2 - Find Your Content & Start Learning
Navigate to the Content Library and search for: Sitefinity Insight 101: Understanding & Mastering the Basics. Then simply click the title for FREE access to the course and certification.
