Hybrid AI image search

Overview

PREREQUISITES: You must have purchased the Packaged AI Service add-on.

You can search images in the backend with keywords using the Sitefinity Hybrid AI Search add-on. Hybrid AI image search is a combination of full text and vector queries that execute against a search index, containing both searchable plain text content and generated embeddings. 

Use hybrid AI image search

To use the hybrid AI search for images, perform the following:

  1. Enable backend search index for media.
    For more information, see Backend search index for media.
  2. In the Sitefinity backend, navigate to Content » Images.
  3. In the search bar, type a keyword to start searching your images.
    The search results are calibrated to return images that have the keyword as the focus of the image. You can perform a standard full-text search using a library name, tag, category, or file URL. In addition, you can search in any language.
