In this article you learn how to add and manage the scoring rules of lead scoring types.
IMPORTANT: When you change the lead scoring rules, or Sitefinity Insight automatically changes lead scoring rules (for example, when you delete a Persona or Conversion used in a lead scoring rule), a background recalculation is triggered. This calculation is time consuming and can take up to an hour to get the recalculated results.
You can add a rule when creating a new lead scoring type or by pressing the Manage stages and rules button of an existing lead scoring type.
Once you have opened the Manage stages and rules screen, to add a rule, perform the following:
NOTE: You can choose whether visitors score points just once or every time they complete the interaction. For more information, see Lead scoring rules.
When editing an existing lead score, for each rule, the total number of matches is displayed. A match is an actual action of adding points to a visitor towards their association with a specific scoring type in accordance with this rule. If the rule matches a second time by the same visitor towards the same scoring type, it is counted again.
