The data center with sample data is based on the Sitefinity CMS Quantum sample data that enables you to explore a full-blown e-commerce site for electronic devices. To check out how you can setup the demo Quantum site, go the sample project's GitHub repository.
The data center has all metrics and scoring models predefined so you can play around straight away. You get predefined metrics along with automatically populated data about visitors, demographics, and behavior. You get to analyze:
PREREQUISITES: You need to have the Account Administrator role assigned. For more information, see Manage users in data centers and accounts.
To create a data center with default sample data:
NOTE: By default, you have a Sample Data data center created and ready to work with. However, if it was deleted, or if your account does not have any data centers created yet, you click Create sample data center to recreate it.
NOTE: The sample data center is populated with sample data by default.
Look at the data center dashboard and go through the reports to get an idea what kind of statistics and information you can analyze in a real data center. For more information, see Work with the Analytics dashboard.
Once you grasp the basic features and how data is accumulated and presented in various reports, you can use the predefined metrics or scoring models as templates and tweak them to get a deeper insight into how defining your definitions affects reports. You may experiment with modifying the conditions of lead scorings or personas, for example, by changing their thresholds or by defining new rules and points for user scores. Or, you can define completely new conversion reports, scoring models, touchpoints, and so on.
NOTE: You can also add an A/B test and populate with sample data. To do that, you create the test in Sitefinity CMS and link it to the demo data center. For more information, see Setup A/B tests campaigns.
NOTE: If you want to set up personalization reports, see Automatically create personalization reports.
